Stories were used as a main tool to transmit collective knowledge from generation to generation (these days we tend to call it “know-how sharing”) long before any system of writing got invented. Myths, tales, songs – they all played a crucial role in passing down wisdom and knowledge. They also had a significant impact on such important aspects of community life as raising children or building shelters.
One might think that together with the invention of writing and, even more so, printing, oral storytelling would disappear. Nothing more misleading! Now, in the 21st century, in the ‘digitization era’, we are experiencing a great come back to appreciating the value of a spoken word.
WHY HAVE WE INTRODUCED PODCASTS TO ELOQUENS?
Here, at Eloquens, we share a deep belief in the power of storytelling. Hence, an introduction of the PODCAST format has always been seen only as a matter of time – we knew we wanted to have them on our platform. 😀 With an aim of responding to the global tendency and addressing the increasing demand for inspirational and educational stories, we have decided to make the introduction of this new publication format our priority for the second half of this year. We want to provide our Authors with an additional tool enabling them to reach a greater audience and to contribute to the know-how sharing movement in a new way.
