Boost your Sales !
Regularly during the year, to boost sales, there are many opportunities to push specific discounts on certain Best Practices or on your entire Eloquens Channel.
For example optimal times can include :
– Holiday Seasons: Christmas, Black Friday, Cyber Monday…
– Special events : industry trade shows, milestones for your business, pertinent annual business days (e.g. National Financial Awareness Day, Spreadsheet Day …
– Slow Sales Period : During off-peak times to stimulate sales and maintain cash flows.
– Competitor Sales: Respond to other Eloquens Author Competitors sales events to retain market share.
– New Best Practice Release: Introduce new products with promotional discounts to generate interest.
– Special Promotions : for example Flash Sales which are limited-time offers to create a sense of urgency.

Discounts on Specific Eloquens Best Practices
First, if you are looking to apply discounts to specific Best Practices, you can activate a discount by :
1/ Going to “Your Contributions Tab”
2/ Then “edit pricing”
3/ Then “Discount Settings”.
You can set and activate a discount here. This discount will be applied to all users who purchase your Best Practice. You can set a fixed discounted price or a percentage discount, and it can also be time based.

Discounts in Cart
Discounts on entire Eloquens Channel
In case you are also setting a general author discount, this discount will get overridden if it is lower than the general author discount.
4/ Activate the Discount then click save
5/ Your discount then appears :
a) in the Catalog
b) in the Best Practice page, at the top and in the pricing section
c) in your Channel
Alternatively, should you want to activate a general % discount on all your priced Best Practices, you can do this directly from the button “Author Discount” in “Your Contributions” Page.
Simply :
1/ Set a %
2/ Add an eventual start and/or end date
3/ Activate
4/ And “voilà”, your discounts will appear on all your priced Best Practices.
