LAUNCH OF A NEW FEATURE: BOOKMARKS 🔖

Eloquens is proud to announce the release of the “Bookmarks”  feature for Eloquens.com content users. This feature enables users to save in a list the Best Practices that they would like to explore later in a dedicated tab. From their “bookmarks” tab, users can then decide to add specific Best Practices to their library for immediate usage. The natural consequence is enhanced user experience for Eloquens Registered Users and Eloquens Web Visitors.

This feature is great for professionals who are looking to explore a wide range of content on a regular basis and who would like to keep a long list of interesting content to dig into.

Based on the composition of this bookmark tab, Eloquens algorithms suggest Best Practices that could be potentially interesting for users.

Besides, no need to have an Eloquens account to use Bookmarks, site visitors can build their bookmarks tab while exploring the platform. However, Sign-Up will be needed if users want to either “Save” their bookmarks or download one or more Best Practices.

Here is how to add Best Practices to the “bookmarks tab”:

1/ Via the Catalog:

ELOQUENS USER COMMUNITY JUST REACHED 10’000 USERS!

We would like to share with you our growth Statistics on Eloquens’ User Community, since the launch in 2016. Especially as the Eloquens Community reached 10,000 members yesterday!

The 2016 curve seems flat at first sight with the scale effect, but as you will see it started as an exponential as we shifted from our beta to our operational V1.

The community doubled a first time in 2017 from 162 users in January to 340 users in February. As new authors joined the platform we reached 700 users in March, 1,500 in May, then after V2 was released it doubled again to 3,000 in July and with V2.1 (New Categories, Iframes…) doubled to reach 6,000 in November….and with our growing visibility, we have just reached the 10,000 threshold!

With this growth trend, we are on the way to realize our vision to offer the first platform to share professional ready-to-use knowledge.

Should you want to publish a quality content on Eloquens yourself (for free or for a price), we invite you to click on this link to learn more: Publishing Your First Best Practice on Eloquens

Looking forward to seeing you on Eloquens!

Iframe Embeded Feature Eloquens

LAUNCH OF A NEW FEATURE: EMBED Iframe

Eloquens is proud to announce the release of the “Embed Iframe”  feature for Eloquens.com authors and users. This feature enables authors to embed their Best Practices that have been published on Eloquens, on their own websites to channel their website visitors towards their ready-to-use Best Practices and methods.

As all Eloquens users sign-up with Linkedin, authors consequently know the exact identity of their content users (Picture, Professional Title, Professional Description and Linkedin Link) and then get in touch with either through the platform (via the Private Messaging System) or via Linkedin directly.

Eloquens users can also use the iframe codes to embed specific Best Practices they have appreciated on their own personal blogs and websites.

Similar to YouTube, this new feature enables useful and actionable content to be showcased in the best format across the web.

Here is how to get the iframe codes to embed an Eloquens Best Practice on your website:

Here are a few examples of Eloquens Authors who have embeded their Best Practices on their own personal websites:

LAUNCH OF A NEW FEATURE: AUTHOR RANKINGS

Eloquens is proud to announce the release of “Author Rankings” in Category Pages and throughout the website as a whole. This feature was developed to democratically to give extra visibility to our high performing authors in specific categories, and to reward those who build value by regularly sharing and contributing on the site.

Authors having published in a given category will now be ranked according to the performance of their Best Practices in this specific section, which you can find at the bottom of each category page.

The algorithm used is made of: a maximum of 1/3 of historic performance + 2/3 of performance over the last 30 days.

The Algorithm is a combination of the following elements:

  • Downloads
  • Sales
  • Strength of Reviews & Ratings
  • Number of Publications
  • Participation in discussion feeds

The algorithm is refreshed every 10 minutes.
